​The Therapy Inn is a locally owned and operated outpatient therapy private-practice. We offer secular, evidence-based therapy for people in Utah. While we most often see clients with anxiety, depression, and trauma, it is frequently within the context of experiencing (or having experienced in the past) faith transitions, religious trauma, and LGBTQIA+ topics. We are looking for independently licensed therapists to join our collective. BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals are encouraged to apply.

 

Clinical Philosophy
An inn is a refuge for travelers. Our practice embraces this meaning to be a place for those feeling weary on the journey of life. We offer clients a mental refuge so that they can find healing from trauma and emotionally reconnect with themselves and others. We make this a reality through the services we provide and the community we are building.

Business Philosophy

Every therapist shouldn't have to start their own practice just to meet their financial goals. We are a group practice that wants to bridge that gap by helping our therapists grow too. The traditional approach that group practices take leads to stagnation and burnout. We want you to have flexibility and autonomy in practicing therapy because we know that leads to the best results for your clients. We want you to be well-compensated and have real growth opportunities.​

Independent Clinician (1099 Contractor)

The Therapy Inn is seeking fully licensed therapists to join our membership collective. Whether you're looking to step away from the limitations of traditional group practices or avoid the isolation (and hassle) of going fully solo, our model gives you the best of both worlds: the income and autonomy of private practice, paired with the infrastructure and community of an established practice.

Membership Options

We offer two tiers to fit your practice style:

  • Telehealth Contractors pay a flat membership fee of $450/month.

  • In-Person Contractors pay $450 base plus a $550/month shared office access fee (approximately $1,000/month, which may vary based on local office rates).

    • Our shared office space can be used for in-person sessions, telehealth, or both, and we help coordinate scheduling.

Both tiers include access to SimplePractice EHR, billing/admin assistance, credentialing guidance, monthly peer supervision, and marketing/referral support.

 

You Keep 100% of What You Earn

No splits. No percentages taken off the top. At most group practices, therapists take home 40-70% of their earnings. Here, everything you bill is yours.

What We Provide

We handle the infrastructure so you can focus on clinical work. That includes:

  • SimplePractice EHR and all its features

  • Mentaya for out-of-network billing support

  • Credentialing guidance (we've done it before, we can help you do it too!)

  • Coverage of client payment processing fees

  • Website, branding, and advertising

  • Referral support and a network of colleagues

  • Monthly peer supervision

What You Bring

You are a fully licensed clinician who can practice in Utah without restrictions. You'll work as an independent contractor which means you set your own hours, rates, and specialties. You build your own caseload through marketing and networking, maintain your own malpractice insurance, handle your tax accounting, and keep up with your own CEUs. (If you're unfamiliar with any of that, don't worry we can help you figure it out!)

We're In This Together

Going solo means startup costs, administrative burden, and no community. Joining a traditional group means giving up a significant portion of your income and your autonomy. The Therapy Inn is built for therapists who want neither of those compromises.
